SYNOPSIS:

A demon dog waits at an occult shop. A little boy arrives and insists on taking him home. The demon dog detests being adopted by this strange boy until learning he is replacing a previous pet who died. Giving it a chance, they start becoming friends.

ABOUT

“New Grim” is a short animatic created as part of my studies in 2021 and efforts to learn Adobe Premiere. The story is an original idea about a boy and his new demon dog pet. The characters and elements were roughly sketched and then re-drawn digitally before being edited in Premiere. All sound effects were sourced from free online resources.
